Software Page
This is my Software Page. It contains links to pages that
helped me understand the software environment at DØ as
well as pages I've found useful while writing code.
DØ Environment
As anyone who is new to programming at DØ has found
out, trying to learn the software environment is about as
easy and seeing through mud. Therefore, I've decided to
provide links to the pages that I've been pointed to or have
found after many hours of frustrated pounding on my desk.
These links will take you to pages that describe the
commands necessary to get the environment setup on a unix
session, how to choose the current version and access the CVS
system and the C++ standard that DØ would like us to
adopt.
Here are some links I've found to the analysis tools that are
used or have been used at DØ in the past.
-
For anyone who has had to write Fortran code that works
with hbook,
this is indespensible.
-
Here is a link to the Paw
homepage.

Here is a link to the Root homepage.
C++ References
These are just some links to online references that I've
found very useful when trying to code in C++.
Personal Code
Using the above links, I have been able to write some code of
my own. To see it, go to my Jets / Missing Et page then go to
the L2_analyze
page. There you will find links to the code.
