Pentaquarks - according to recent papers they can decay to Kshort and proton and should show up as a peak  at ~1.533  GeV in Ks  p  inv mass.

used 6 pb-1. looked for Kshort and proton from the same PV vertex. Removed protons from Lambda decays. the below plot shows Kshort & proton inv mass spectrum before proton ID cuts.


dEdx in SMT. Reguired for proton candidate Nhits>2 and # CFT hits > 14. for proton ID required dEdx > 0.16 MeV, Ptotal <0.9 GeV  and selected only the proton band  by geometrical cuts.
