My Decalog of Management |
You shall have a single boss
You shall make your boss look good
You shall give authority commesurate to the responsibility assigned
You shall dedicate your working hours to your work and keep the others for yourself, your family and your friends
You shall not put your work above your conscience
You shall not deprive your workers or your peers of the means to succeed: that will kill their chances of survival
You shall not give yourself, your knowledge or ideas to another company but your own
You shall not steal ideas from your workers or your peers
You shall not damage the reputation of your workers or peers with gossip
You shall strive for consensus but the decisions and the responsibilities are yours
