| Although I was born in Cáceres, I always have considered myself a true "barçelonÍ". That is because my parents moved to Barcelona when I was 3 years old .... Consequently, I grew up and studied in Barcelona. I lived there until I moved to the United States at the end of 1967. |

Because
my formative years were spent in
Barcelona, if anybody asks me I
say, "I'm from Barcelona, España". I am proud of being a "Catalá". |
| Barcelona is the capital of Catalunya, an Autonomous Community of Spain. The Language of Catalunya is Catalá. |
| I am also proud of the land of my parents, Extremadura. Extremadura is a Region of Spain formed by two provinces: Cáceres and Badajoz. The city of Cáceres is the capital of the province of the same name. |
| I invite you to take a virtual tour through Spain. Let's visit Cáceres, Catalunya and Barcelona. You will not regret it! |
