CFT Protocols and Definitions for L2 Transfers

The number of data frames sent in L2 mode are not fixed as in L1 mode, instead they can vary between 0 to 24. In case of STSX -> L2 STT the number of data frames varies between 0 to 32.

Record Layout for G-Link Transfers

For all G-Link transfers the total number of sent frames must be a multiple of 8. Therefore padding frames (all bits are set to ZERO) will be inserted after the data frames and before the trailer frames.
