Generic board names (names without reference to the detector they are used for)
AFE...........Analog Front End board................board located on the cassette cryostat
DB.............Digital Board.................................board type used from the track or cluster finding board at the start of the trigger chain throughout the entire trigger chain
DFE...........Digital Front End board..................board based on the DB mother board with the tracking daughter board and track or cluster finding firmware
MX............Mixing Box Board..........................generic board in the electronic Mixing Box
MXI...........Mixing Box Input Board.................input board in the electronic Mixing Box
MXO.........Mixing Box Output Board...............output board in the electronic Mixing Box
DTB...........Digital Transition Board ..................board located behind the back plane in the DB crates
DCB...........Digital Collector Board ..................board based on the DB mother board with a collector version daughter board
DBC...........Digital BroadCaster board .............board based on the DB mother board with a broadcaster version daughter board
TM.............Trigger Manager board ..................the CTT use of the Muon Trigger Manager board.

TFB ....... Track Finding Board, used in the fiber tracker trigger
CFB ....... Cluster Finding Board, used in the forward preshower trigger
STB ....... STereo Board, used in the CPS stereo strips L2 trigger
