Collision hall access will not be available from 1700 to 1800 this evening due to safety system tests.

Supervised access to the collision hall should be ending at 1600 on Friday afternoon, Plan accordingly.

The instrumentation on the FPD has been removed. If you notice any change in operating conditions, please contact a Run Coordinator immediately.

Please review the supervised access procedures prior to making access to the collision hall.

Please discuss detector related activities with the Run Coordination team to insure that appropriate safety precautions are being taken.

The DAQ is back up and available to be exercised. Please test out subsystems to verify that the detector has fully recovered from the power outages as well as the DAQ upgrades.

The detector has been closed and magnets have been successfully ramped to full current.

The shutdown duration is expected to be 10 weeks.

Supervised access keys are to be issued by Captains, Ops shifters, or the Run Coordination team. Please make sure to return your key before leaving the area.

In addition to the on-call experts, the following shift coverage is anticipated during the majority of the shutdown:

Monday through Friday

0000-0800 Ops shifters (DAQ on auto-pilot)

0800-1600 Captain and Ops shifters

1600-2200 DAQ shifter and Ops shifters

2200-2400 Ops shifters (DAQ on auto-pilot)

Saturday and Sunday

0000-1000 Ops shifters (DAQ on auto-pilot)

1000-1800 DAQ shifter and Ops shifters

1800-2400 Ops shifters (DAQ on auto-pilot)
