Run II Offline Calibration and Alignment
December, 1998 Milestones
Deadline: Code must be
part of the release of January 13, 1999
We will ask for the first release as part of the January 5 release
- All detectors will have base, channel and material
geometries debugged and integrated with
DØRECO.
- General Status
- SMT: John
- CFT: Harry
- CPS: Don, Phil
- CAL: Steve
- FPS: Dennis
- Muon: Nemat, Pushpa, Rick
- Solenoid: Heidi?
- A prototype alignment program for at
least one detector will be developed which will:
- Take tracks found by TRF++
- Calculate residuals between those tracks and the detector hits
- Use the residuals to create a new, aligned geometry
- Verify that new residuals are zero when TRF++ uses new geometry
- Smoothing function in global tracking: Harry
- Infrastructure: Harry
- CFT: Harry
- Secondary goal - SMT: Tom, John, Dhiman
- A prototype calibration program for at
least one detector will be developed.
- Prototype will use mSQL / døom interface
- Infrastructure (Calibration Manager, etc): Ela, Vicky?
- SMT: Ela
- Calibration constants: pedestals, gains, drift corrections
