What and Why?

This is a two stage review of the database design, CORBA server (from dgben), RECO interface and online to offline data transfer. The first stage is needed at the time RECO access to specific subdetector calibration databases is released, and the review will cover

  1. Database design (needed to begin using the integration database)
  2. the CORBA server generated by dbgen using the Oracle designer information
  3. the RECO interface to the constants.

The second stage is a review of the data transfer between the online and offline databases (the yellow box) and will follow the stage 1 review by roughly one month.

The CD/D0 database groups will make some requirements for the review. Learn how to generate the DB information required. The offline calib/align group additionally expects to review the completed RECO interface(spec coming soon). The information will be needed one week before the review, and the review should last 1 - 2 hrs.
