    Requirements for muon VME front-end crates installation
    =======================================================

    1. The muon front-end crates have the following physical dimensions:

        - width 20 1/4 inches
        - hight 22 1/4 inches
        - depth 19 3/4 inches

    2. These crates  require 115 volts  single phase  AC outlet with the
       ground contact. Maximum current  consumption ~ 15 amps. The crates
       comply with FCC B requirement on conducted EMI (have AC filter).

    3. Minimum two (2) inches space  have to be provided in front and at
       the back  of the  crate to  allow for  cooling air  flow. The gap
       provided by the legs at the  bottom has to be free of any objects
       to guarantee  air flow. These  crates are  designed to work at 25
       degree Celsius ambient  temperature with the derated power output
       at higher  temperatures,  therefore,  the location  of each crate
       should be selected accordingly to guarantee this condition.

    4. Blank  panels have  to be  installed in  all unused  slots of the
       crate to  provide proper  cooling.
